Fascinating cities from anthropological viewpoint: Students visit Nairobi, Mombasa

Twelve anthropology and sociology students from University of Houston-Clear Lake spent two weeks in June traveling in Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya to experience a new culture and appreciate the diversity in sub-Saharan Africa.

Six healthcare administration students, as well as 12 students in the Anthropology program took a two-week trip to Nairobi, Kenya last month. The healthcare group visited four area hospitals along with Ayadi and her faculty co-lead, Assistant Professor of Critical Social Psychology Enciso Dominguez.
